Here at Irish-Radiodotcom, we're big admirers of The Afternoon Crew on KCLR (Kilkenny/Carlow).
Comprising of Shane O'Beef and Shannon nic Reamoinn, they deliver a loose but well constructed show each day. The relationship between the two feels genuine and not forced - which in our opinion, is very appealing.
Lots of genuine laughs with an (almost) brother/sister energy.
The show takes to the road quite a bit, from shops to events around the region and the team have a natural ability to chat with listeners off the cuff.
Well prepared and very local, this show (and it's hosts) are worth keeping an eye on.
The standard of Online Radio in Ireland has improved leaps and bounds over the past 5 years.
A great example is Hits Radio Ireland.
With a slick website, useable app and smart speaker availability, this is a station that put all of their ducks in a row before launching.
On Air presenters include John Troy, John Clarke, Paul Dower and Dave Whelan.
Maybe one day they will apply for a Temporary FM license?
